Invitations

Fill up a baby bottle with green candies (eg. Green M&Ms) and tie your invitation around its neck. Be sure to use some Shrek fonts to write your invitation details, and since they're free and could easily be downloaded from the net, that should give you the necessary Shrek touch without that much of a hassle.

Another invitation idea is to bake some ginger bread man and send it as your invitation. You have two ways to approach this idea - bake a giant cookie where all party details are icingd on it, or bake small ginger bread man, put them in a bag, and complete the package with a ribbon with your invitation details attached.

Ask your guests to wear green shirts/dresses. And once they arrive, be sure to give them their Shrek hat (basically Shrek's ears in a hat-like band). That should be a nice way to get your Shrektacular shower started!

Pin Baby To Right Mommy (Individual Activity)

This is a rendition of the popular game Pin The Tail On The Donkey, Shrektacular baby shower style.

There are two mommies in the Shrek movie, Fiona and Dragon. The idea of this game version is to be able to pin the right baby to the right mommy, as the title suggest. Similar to the original game, the person who was able to pin the baby nearest to right mommy's special "spot", wins the game.

Mud Fight (Group Activity)

This is a pictionary game wherein all the words to be used should be related to the parents-to-be, babies and baby shower.

But since we want to do this Shrek's way, you need a batch of chocolate pudding and do some finger painting, instead of the usual pens and pencils. Your guests' will definitely get their hands dirty, but a little "mud" is not unexpected in an ogre party, and will definitely add a nice twist to the typical pictionary game!

SLIMEy Drinking Contest (Individual or Group Activity)

In a Shrek baby shower, green is totally in. So in this particular drinking contest, we want green punch, green juice, etc. Of course, since this is a baby shower, we want baby bottles in the picture as well.

The person/group who was able to drink ALL your green concoction the fastest, wins the game.

Ginger bread cookies - whether your favor comes in Gingy's shape, this will be a delicious treat for your friends.

Gummy worms - since your guests might not have Shrek's stomach for real worms, these chewy stuff will do instead
