Around The Clock Theme Baby Shower

Over 75 Themes! With so many themes, how do you choose which design is perfect for you?

You can send what we call a "baby clock" as your shower invitation. A baby clock is similar to other clocks, but instead of just numbers, each of the time represents a special time related to babies. 8:00 AM can be bath time, 9:00 AM can be eating time, 3:00 PM will be nap time, and so on and so forth. You can just use words or if you're in a more creative mood, find some cliparts that you can use to represent each hour.

If that doesn't suit you and you happen to be a fan of invitations that can double up as something else, why don't you bake or buy some cookies. Just design each to seem like the face of a clock and you can send that plus some card, which will contain your invitations details, to your friends.

Ask your friends to come wearing something that represents time - this can be about the four seasons or something that represents a special moment of their lives. Having each of your guests tell everybody why they chose that dress can be one of your icebreakers, and will be a great way to introduce each guest to everybody!

More Around The Clock Baby Shower Game Ideas

Guess Who Has It (Individual Activity)

You need to choose an object related to pregnancy or the soon to be mommy. A pacifier or a baby sock are two such objects that we can think of.

The idea here is to pass around your chosen baby object, and leave the IT guessing who has the said thing. Since this is an Around The Clock shower, players should be in a circle, with the IT in the middle. You can play some music while the "passing around" happens, and when the clocks strikes, IT needs to guess who has your chosen object.

Give each player three times (or less, depending on your preferred game length) to play as IT. Player who made the most number of correct guesses, wins the game. No winner? No worries, since we're pretty sure your guests had a lot of fun in the process!

Hunt Around The Room (Group Activity)

This is another treasure hunt game customized for an Around The Clock shower.

You need to have items related to having a baby or mom-to-be. They need to be scattered and hidden around the room/house.

Now for the clues. Depending on how challenging you want this game, you can give a clue regarding both the location and the object. Since this is an Around The Clock shower, clues should be time-based. Location clues could be "This place is usually occupied around 7 AM - 10 AM, while "Babies suck them" can be a clue if your chosen item is a pacifier.

The group who was able to find the most items wins the game.

Memory Game (Individual Activity)

It's time to test your guests' memory and their attention to detail.

List down items that are related to having a baby or mom-to-be. Pick items that can be tied up to the time of the day when said item is usually used. This can be 8:00 AM - bath tub, 3:00 PM - crib, and so on. Write each item and corresponding time down in a piece of paper.

The host needs to draw lots and read out the item and its corresponding time. Afterwards, give each guest a pen and paper so they can write down all the items under 8:00 AM, 3:00 PM and so on. To make this extra-challenging, you can even require them to write the items according to the order they were read out.

The person who had the most correct answers wins the game.

Spin The Baby Bottle (Individual Activity)

Everybody must be seated in a circle, and when the baby bottle's head points to a particular person, that person must share some tips to the new mommy that she can use when her little one arrives.

No winner, but definitely a nice way to get good advice from the baby experts in the room.
