Invitations

Throwing a jungle or a safari baby shower? Then sending a creative invitation will not be a problem, since there are lots of ideas to choose from!

Find some small and inexpensive elephant or giraffe stuff toys, tie your invitation around the toy's neck and that's your baby shower invitation right there!

A baby bottle full of animal-shaped candies/cookies is also a great invitation idea as far as we're concern. You not only tell your guests the details your party, you also give them a quick snack at the same time!

Hunting (Group Activity)

Each group needs to find the other group's hidden treasure, which will primarily consist of certain baby items or things related to mom-to-be. This game is all about protecting your treasures. Unlike typical treasure hunts game, in this game, the longer it takes for the group's treasure to be found, the better chances of winning.

Who's My Mommy? (Individual/Group Activity)

This game is all about matching the right baby animal with its mother (or father). This can be a pretty fun game, especially since there are lots of uncommon baby animal names. You can either use our baby animal game card but if you don't want to be limited with the baby animals in our game card, a good reference is available here.

Animal Charades (Group Activity)

This will play like the typical charades game. If you have no idea what a charade game is all about, a good explanation is available at Wikipedia.

The topic of the charade should be animals. However, since this is a baby shower game, just knowing what the animal is will not be sufficient. Players should also be able to give the right name for said animal's young. In short, the list of animal baby names from the previous game idea will be very useful on this game as well.
