Invitations

You can send your invitation inside a baby bottle coated with white feathers. Complete the angelic aura by wrapping the baby bottle cap with something gold or silver (yes, like a halo) and that should be quite fitting to your chosen theme.

Another possibility is to send out a rubber ducky invitation. But this will be no ordinary rubber ducky, since this one comes with small white wings, wherein your party details is hanging from a gold or silvery string.

If that was close but no cigar, how about sending an actual balloon as your invitation? Your balloon should come in white of course, with "You are Invited" written in gold or silver. Be sure to attach your party details on it before you send them out.

Find My Angel (Individual Activity)

The goal of this activity is to guess whose baby is the baby in the picture. We suggest that when you invite your guests, include a note in the invitation for them to bring one of their baby’s pictures. It will be better for this game if your guest could bring a black and white photo.

As your guests arrive, collect their baby pictures, and tack them in a board or something similar. Number each of them so as to make the game implementation easier.

It is important for your guests to know the name of the other people in your shower, before they could start guessing. The player with the most number of correct guesses, wins a prize.

Bible Baby Name Race (Individual/Group Activity)

This is a race, a race to list down the most number of baby names from the bible. We will leave it to you on whether to play this in group or individually.

To make this game extra challenging, you can ask each player to give a short description about said baby/person.

The group/player with the most number of unique names wins the race.

Grape Test (Individual/Group Activity)

Grape (in the form of wine) plays a great role in the bible and hence, any activity related to it is quite welcome on any Christian shower.

Prepare different kinds of alcoholic (or you can stick to non-alcoholic) drinks. The goal of the game is for each player to pick which drinks include grapes as one of its components. But instead of drinking it from a glass, each player need to make their guess based on a drop or so from a baby’s medicine dropper.

Be sure to add lots of red herrings to make this a tough task even to your best connoisseur.

A Little Prayer (Individual Activity)

We got this idea from a reader of our sister site and we really love the idea so we're customizing it a bit so as to make it a perfect activity for a Christian shower.

When you send your invitation, ask each of mommy's friends to write a little prayer for either the soon to be parents or the new baby. You also need lots of white balloons since you will need them for this activity. The number depends on how many guests are expected.

The idea is to tie everyone's lil prayer on a balloon and send all "prayers" to the Heavens. Whether you send each prayer one at a time or send them all together, it will be quite amazing to see all those balloons fly up and up and up.

We'll leave it to you if you prefer to have each friend read his/her prayer to mom-to-be first. But either way, this will be a very solemn and touching activity and is definitely worth adding on any Christian shower.
