Baby Shower Theme Cowboy
Giddy up and take a look at these AMAZING Cowboy Baby Shower party packs that we found:
Invitations
Who could resist your shower, if you invite your guests using a gunslinger baby feeding bottle? We definitely can't, because if you could exert that much effort in making your invitation, then just imagine what you will do to make the party really FUNtastic? And that's the thing, creating said invitation does not necessarily mean exerting that much effort - you just buy some thin leather, create a belt of some sort and two pouches on the side, and voila, your bottle could already "wear" it. But considering that it is really much easier to just go to your bookstore and buy shower invitations, your guests will really be amazed by the effort you exerted on this.
To complete the picture, don't forget to drop a rolled up invitation letter inside your baby bottle. You don't want to disappoint your guests by forgetting the most important thing, right?
Close, but no cigar? Then how about using a rubber ducky instead. You could still implement the gunslinger idea on your rubber ducky (yes, it's quite flexible). Or if you're not that into THAT idea, then how about creating a saddle for your rubber ducky? Still cowboyish, not to mention very babyish, which is what a baby shower invitation should be like. Or better yet, go add a cowboy hat on that invitation, and you will have a VERY cowboyish invitation indeed. And it's just a matter of hanging up your invitation letter on your rubber ducky's neck (using a thin rope will be a definite plus), and there you go, a cowducky!
If you want a creative invitation, but prefer to exert less effort, then we suggest that you cut a rocking horse from a cardboard, and just use words like "Giddy Up, giddy up" or something like "Yeeehaaaaa!" in your invitation letter. That should still have a high creativity rating.
Now, for your guests' attire. A hat should definitely be part of your guests' getup when they attend your party. If they could manage some boots, that is definitely most welcomed. In fact, tell your guests that they could go as western-crazy as they like, since that's one craziness that every host throwing a cowboy shower would like to see in their party!

Baby Shower Game Ideas

Under the Hats (Individual Activity)
You will need a number of cowboy hats for this one.
This is actually a memory game, cowboy baby shower version. You will have a lot of baby articles, covered with cowboy hats. Each hat is numbered for easier game implementation.
Your guests' goal is to list down the corresponding baby article per hat. To make it more challenging, we suggest that you introduce your guests randomly to each hat, and just give them a peek per baby item. Do this one person at a time, until all your guests had their turn to look under the hats. Give them time to list down their answers, check their papers, and the person with the most number of correct answers, wins the game!
Shoot that Thing (Individual Activity)
When we say shoot, we don't actually mean shooting with a gun and the like. Instead, the goal of this activity is to shoot certain baby articles in cowboy hats. You could make this game more challenging by having different levels (Hat 2 is 2 feet farther than Hat 1, and so on; Use other baby articles that are more difficult to shoot), or you could just widen the distance of all hats from the players, just to keep the game simple yet challenging. Either way, we know that your guests will really have lots of fun doing this. It's almost like going to a carnival, and playing those fair games, right?
The person with the least number of misses, will be declared your MVP, and will win a prize!
It's Raining Cows (Group Activity)
You need a lot of cow stuff toys (or picture of cows) to play this game. You also need baby blankets or something similar.
It's raining cows, and your guests should catch them, so they don't directly hit the ground. And this is where the baby blanket comes in.
We will leave it to you on whether to just have one burst of raining cows, or if you want to trickle cows every once in awhile. Either way, we know that this is quite fun to play, and is definitely worth adding in your list of shower activities.
It is quite obvious, but the group with the best cow catchers, wins the game, and of course, a prize.
Cowboy Relay (Group Activity)
Hopefully, you're not about to say "Not another relay", since we could assure you that this is one fun relay to play.
Of course, since it's a relay, some of the rules are the same - one person get to do something, once that is accomplished, it's the next person's turn, until everybody had their turn. But since this is a cowboy baby shower relay, here's the twist. Instead of just going on and doing their task, each person need to wear their cowboy getup, before they could do the necessary task, which is to transfer a baby article from one place to another.
There are two ways to make this really challenging. First, you could make the cowboy getup more complicated. Instead of just requiring them to put on a hat and a gun belt, you could add more cowboy articles to make it more difficult to put on (and take off). Secondly, you could change the tasks to something more difficult. Instead of just transferring baby articles from one place to another, you could require your guests that after getting the necessary baby item, they need to shoot the baby article in a basket of some sort, from a certain distance. We bet this could not be done as easily as just transferring things, which will make the game more fun to play!
Like typical relays, the group who was able to finish the fastest, will be declared relay champs.
