I can’t help but think about Hey Diddle Diddle

It’s my favorite rhyme, together with Twinkle, Twinkle

I really must try harder to recall those precious lines

Soon I will teach my own son/daughter his/her nursery rhymes.

Strong as a lion, with a roar to prove it

That’s how my little prince will greet us when we finally meet

Pretty and pink, that’s how my princess will enter

Amidst the oohs and ahhhs of all those who behold her

We will love her dearly, our gift, our little angel

And together we’ll go home to our magnificent castle
