Baby Shower Express #010: Sporty Baby Shower

This issue is coming a wee bit late, but no worries, since we're singling out sporty baby shower ideas on this issue, we're pretty sure you could still use these ideas on any baby shower you're about to throw in the near future.

To start with, you could decorate your shower room with different Sports icons, from Jordan, Schumacher, just to name a few. Having some basketball hoops, a baseball bat, or an umpire mask hanging around the room will definitely be cool!

Since this is a baby shower, we want babies in the picture as well - a baby wearing a baseball hat, hanging from the hoops, wearing a jersey, and so on.

For your shower activities, anything that involves babies and balls are definitely in. Feel like having a bowling with baby bottles as your pins? That's definitely a welcome activity to any sports baby shower. Feel like shooting some hoops? A bassinet or anything like it will be a good shooting target.

How about some race driving, baby shower style? No worries, you just need some baby strollers on this race. This game will play like a typical relay race, wherein each member of the group will have his/her turn to "drive". To make this race more challenging, fill the stroller full of baby stuff like small stuff toys, which must stay inside the stroller the entire race (if they do get displaced, the driver need to put the fallen items back in the stroller, before s/he can continue the race).

Now let's discuss what food to serve. Hotdogs should definitely be part of your repertoire. Burger, nuts, french fries and other typical food served during a sports game, are also part of your choices. Serve any of these with some of your favorite Gatorade flavors and your baby shower menu is quite complete.
